Booking Conditions

• Bookings are firm, refunds for cancellations and missed sessions are at the discretion of the organisers.  A nominal charge may be made if costs have been incurred e.g. postage, telephone calls;

• A full refund will be made if we find it necessary to cancel your course, for example due to instructor illness.

• We reserve the right to vary course formats, availability, content, fees, etc. without notice.

Helmet & Clothing:

Limited supplies of helmets, waterproof clothing and gloves are usually available for riders taking 'Born-Again' courses, although we strongly recommend that you provide your own if possible.  Also, you should have footwear with ankle protection and other clothing to suit prevailing weather conditions.

Insurance:

• You must produce a valid motorcycle licence before commencing a Born Again course;

• Our third party liability insurance is arranged through the Driving Instructor Association.

• If using a Cooper Reading BMW for a Born-Again course, machine insurance is arranged by the dealership (0118 956 3707):

* All machines supplied by Cooper Reading are BMWs, and are fully comprehensively insured. There is an additional charge for this of £21.00 which must be paid to Cooper Reading on your credit card. This insurance cover carries a £500.00 excess. There is no additional charge for fuel used.

Termination of courses:

• To ensure the safety of yourself, instructors and other participants, we reserve the right to terminate your course at any time and withhold course fees.

• However, if a course is terminated due to extreme weather conditions or machine failure (loan bike or instructor’s) we will make a full or partial refund of the course fee or re-book the session for a later date.

Yourself & Your machine

• You are responsible for yourself and your own machine (if used) during riding sessions.

• Cooper Bike Training instructors or Cooper Reading cannot be responsible for your actions while riding.

• If you are taking any medication, or have any condition which might affect your riding, please notify us or take it into consideration when booking your course.

Confirmation of booking:
Bookings for 'Born Again' courses will normally be confirmed in writing.  We will contact you if any change is necessary.  For the Short Assessment ride, 'Advanced Day' and 'Blue Riband' you will be given contact details for your instructor.  Also, for Blue Riband you will be sent the Home-Study Theory Pack.  For 'Advanced Day' the Home Study guide can be e-mailed.

The club “Cooper Bike Training” may wish to store information regarding you and your course on a computer.  Information will only be used or disclosed in connection with club activities or purposes.  Please read and delete the following as applicable:
